Justin and Niall, move over because there’s a new hottie in town.
We first laid ears on Selena’s ‘Hands to Myself’ back in October with the release of her fourth studio album, ‘Revival’. However, we were lucky enough to get a glimpse into the steamy video at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this month which not only had us gawping at Selena’s ability to wear lingerie in the sexiest way possible, but also the blonde bobbed hottie who Selena lusts over in the video.
Turns out, Selena’s Instagram crush who features in the video goes by the name of Christopher Mason, who appears to be caressing Gomez throughout the duration of the video – the jealousy! There’s even a funny twist to the video in which we see Selena tied in handcuffs, instantly making us believe some serious ‘business’ is about to go down, but turns out, it’s much more LAPD than fantasy.
Selena has recently addressed issues regarding her body image after responding to comments about her weight gain. Since signing with her new record label and working with a team of new producers, Gomez has took a leap for maturity with her new sound and appearance. “You have to understand that I dealt with a lot of body-shaming this year and I’ve never experienced that before,” she said. “I don’t care about that stuff, but I did start gaining weight, and I didn’t really mind it. Man, that hurt. That was really hurtful”, she tells Nylon.
On the plus side, it’s a thrill seeing Selena explore her mature side and if by any chance that includes more male hotties featuring on our screens, we definitely want to see more of this new Selena.
