Christina Milian used to date Nick Cannon. The relationship was serious enough that the two lived together for quite a while before their split.
Fans were reminded of their romantic past the other day when Milian stopped by E! News’ digital series Just the Sip to chat with host Justin Sylvester. The pregnant singer shared a story about her time with Cannon that involved her hacking into his phone for an excellent reason. She thought he might be messing around on her.

“When I was dating Nick Cannon, the password somehow worked on the first check, and I was right and the next thing you know, I was reading for like a month. I was reading messages. I was stuck in Romania. I had time. I cannot bust him when I am away. I need to bust him in person so in the meantime, I’m going to get my intel, make sure this is for real for real and it was for real, so it was enough,” Milian began her story.
Christina Milian Turned Up alum didn’t reveal what got her suspicions on high alert. She did share that at the time, it was challenging for her to imagine breaking up with The Masked Singer host. The one thing Milian did know was she needed to have a conversation with Cannon in person.
“We were just so close that I think at that time, I couldn’t deal with the idea that if we ended up breaking up, I wasn’t going to get to see him again. So, I wanted to be able to see him in person, go over it not like it would change anything but part of me was like he was my first love. It was unreal that it was happening. He was living at my house. Right under my roof this is happening? It just kind of blew me away,” she said.
A lot of time has passed since Christina Milian hacked into Nick Cannon’s phone to find out if he was cheating or not. She doesn’t seem to be holding a grudge against her ex-boyfriend.
“It is what it is, and obviously it wasn’t meant to be, and I’m sure he’s maybe changed his ways I’m sure. We all grow up,” shared the Falling Inn Love beauty.

Today Milian is happy with her boyfriend and baby daddy, Matt Pokora. The couple is expecting their first child, a boy together early next year. She is already mom to daughter Violet, age 9 with her ex-husband The Dream.
