Bethenny Frankel walked back her harsh criticism of Meghan Markle after watching her Oprah interview alongside Prince Harry. That being said, the reality TV star decided to do the unthinkable and …. apologize!

After dragging Meghan Markle for complaining about her life at the palace ahead of leaving the royal life, Bethenny actually checked out the interview that same day, changing her mind about Meghan!

So, the Real Housewives of New York City alum took to her Twitter account to write:

‘I watched M and H sit down. Emotional distress and racism must feel suffocating and powerless. I am a polarizing, unfiltered (often to a fault) flawed person with a voice. When I heard about the interview, during a pandemic, it felt like a surprising choice. I am sorry if it hurt or offended you.’

This all started when fans began tweeting at Bethenny about Buckingham Palace revealing last week that they are investigating the allegations that Meghan had previously bullied royal staffers.

But when one fan, in particular, suggested that the staffers might have not treated Meghan well at all, Bethenny rolled her eyes and went on to argue that, even if true, it must have been a very small price to pay for all the success she has today.

‘Cry me a river…the plight of being a game show host, fairly unknown actress, to suffering in a palace, with tiaras and 7 figure weddings for TWO WHOLE YEARS to being a household name with @Oprah on speed dial, fetching 7 million for interviews, hundreds of millions in media deals. Thinking face #MARRY.’

It has to be mentioned that a publicist for Oprah’s Harpo Productions has confirmed that Meghan and Harry were not, in fact, paid for the tell-all interview.

This statement came after a Wall Street Journal report claimed that CBS paid a licensing fee of between $7 million and $9 million to air it.
